Research Interests:
Her research interests are on Software engineering for Semantic Web of Things and Internet of Things (IoT), semantic web best practices and methodologies, ontology engineering, reasoning (e.g., logic-based reasoning, recommender systems, machine learning) and interoperability of IoT data. She is interested in semantic-based IoT related research fields such as Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp), Pervasive Computing, Ambient Intelligence (AmI), Context-Awareness, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), Smart Homes, Semantic Sensor Networks (SSN), Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Internet of Things (IoT), Web of Things (WoT), Smart Cities and Physical-Cyber-Social Computing (PCS).
PhD Thesis:
She holds a Ph.D. from Eurecom since April 2015 with highest honors and she has been selected as one of the 10 nominees for Best PhD thesis Price - Telecom ParisTech 2015 - France.
She designed and implemented the Machine-to-Machine Measurement (M3) framework (http://sensormeasurement.appspot.com/) under the supervision of Prof. Christian Bonnet (Eurecom) and Dr Karima Boudaoud (Universite Nice Sophia Antipolis, I3S, CNRS). The title of her dissertation is “Designing Cross-Domain Semantic Web of Things Applications”. An entire workflow to semantically annotate heterogeneous IoT data, a necessary step to reason on data to infer high level abstractions and querying enriched data. This framework hides the complexity of using semantic web technologies to the developers by providing a package with the domain knowledge required to produce the entire workflow. Moreover, it shows the importance to combine heterogeneous applicative domains.
She also disseminated her work in standardizations such as ETSI M2M, oneM2M (working group on management, abstraction and semantics) and W3C Web of Things.
